Insta-lawn (If you consider 8 hours instant.)

We have GREEN! We put in the sod this weekend. Think of how good it feels to look at the lawn after you just mowed it and multiply it by 10. What a great feeling!
It went well. Jamey had to help her Cousin move. Jen lives in Columbus. Jamey got up at about 5:00 a.m. on Saturday and hit the road with her mom. I woke up at about 8:00 a.m. and gave Ryan and Jim a call. They came over at about 10 and we went to Artmans Nurse. We loaded 85 sq yards sod. It barely fit. Ryan hauled it to our house and we threw it in the back yard. Ryan had a wedding to go to so Jim and Ryan hit it. I worked non-stop for fear of rain. It started to sprinkle so I begged Mother Nature to hold off until sundown. The clouds parted and the sun came out! I finished at about 8:00 p.m. just as Jamey pulled in. We still have a ton of work to do, and I love every minute of it.
